“A problem is a chance for you to do your best”
Hello my lovelies!
I am back to talk about lashes, but this time I would like to talk about the ones currently attached to your eyes already. Like most things, everyone’s lashes come in different lengths, volumes, and colors. Some people having fantastic volume but light blonde lashes, some people have stick straight but long lashes, and some people are blessed with a full, long, and dark lashline.
No matter the look or condition of your lashes, it can be a great idea to invest in a growth and conditioning serum. However, these can get expensive fast and may not necessarily work. I recently picked up a budget friendly option from L’Oréal, tested it out for a month, and am now back to report my results. Is it worth it?
Let’s Get Started:
AQUA / WATER / EAU
ACRYLAMIDE/SODIUM ACRYLOYLDIMETHYLTAURATE COPOLYMER
ARGININE (amino acid)
MADECASSOSIDE (centella asiatica extract)
PANTHENOL (provitamin B5)
SODIUM HYALURONATE (hyaluronic acid derivative)
SORBITAN OLEATE FIL CODE B228176/2
Immediately, the glycerin, hyaluronic acid, and B5 stand out to me, which are all quality ingredients in skincare.
• Denser, thicker lashes in just 4 weeks
• Conditions and nourishes the lashes
• 7/10 women saw a reduction in lash loss during makeup removal
• Ophthalmologist tested and safe for sensitive eyes and contact lenses wearers
How to Use:
- Start with a clean and dry eye area
- Prime the applicator by twisting the bottom cap until product appears
- Twist the bottom cap five times and then apply onto the lashes and upper lashline
- Let dry for 60 seconds
- Use twice daily for optimal results
In hindsight, I feel that I should have taken these pictures with mascara to show more accurate results as this is NOT specifically a growth serum, however I do feel that some results are apparent with just my clean lashes.
At first I noticed very little change in the health of my lashes, but by week four I noticed that the sparser areas of my lashline had filled out, my lashes appeared thicker overall, and my lash loss greatly reduced, even when it came to rubbing my eyes or removing my mascara.
Would I Recommend it:
For a drugstore buy that rang in at $15.00, I am very happy with the results I achieved, namely the reduced lash loss. I am lucky enough to have overall great lashes, but improving the health and quality of my lashes is still very important to me, and I feel like I have been able to achieve that with this serum. I would recommend this to virtually anyone that wants to improve the thickness and health of their lashes, or anyone who wants to maintain their lovely lashline.
That’s all I have for you guys today. Please remember to like, comment, and subscribe, it really helps me out. Also don’t forget to have a fantastic Friday!
