Garnet Eye Tutorial

“Your mind is a powerful thing. When you fill it with positive thoughts, your life will start to change”

Hello my lovelies!

Apologies for the impromptu hiatus once again. The flu shot apparently did not cover the current strain I have, but luckily it is fairly light in comparison to what you would normally imagine. I am currently just exhausted, but I feel that I am on the mend and will be back to my shenanigans. I am also planning to triple post through this weekend to make up for lost time since I finally feel like I have the energy to do so.

When I sat down to create a red inspired look, I have to say I was at a bit of a loss. Red can be a hard color to work with while trying not to go overboard with the drama, which can make things quite challenging. I am planning to incorporate one more red look for my gemstone series before slowly finishing it out, and I am certainly planning to make that one far more dramatic.

As for the tutorial part of this post, I want to keep it short and sweet. This was a very simple look to create using only two shadows from my Modern Renaissance palette, but I love the subtle drama it creates when paired with faux freckles and a bronzed complexion. I also decided to incorporate some Marsala colored mascara for the lower lashes, and while it may not seem like much in the photos, it made a clear difference in natural lighting which I was very pleased with.

That’s all I have for you guys today. Please remember to like, comment, and subscribe, it really helps me out. Also don’t forget to have a fantastic Friday!

Stay beautiful!
