November Digs and Duds

Hello my lovelies!

I haven’t done a post like this in SUCH a long time, but I finally have some new products to review! Due to budget restrictions with being in school full time, I don’t have a lot of products to talk about with this post, but nevertheless, we have some things to discuss.

Digs:

Cetaphil Oil Absorbing Moisturizer –

While this isn’t my favorite moisturizer of all time, I think this a really nice and inexpensive moisturizer for oily skin. I lean more toward the combination/acneic side of the skin type spectrum, and this has done a good job of helping to control my oiliness and keeping major breakouts at bay. While I still use a separate sunscreen in my skincare routine, the fact that this moisturizer contains an appropriate broad spectrum SPF 30 is also a lovely bonus.

L’Oréal Infallible Matte-Lock Primer –

I had previously used the glow version of this primer during my Accutane stint, so I decided to give this primer a whirl. I really like what this primer does for my nose area, which has definitely become much more oily again post-Accutane. It creates a matte base without completely depriving my skin of moisture, and has definitely helped my foundation last much longer.

L.A.Girl Pro Matte High Definition Longwear Foundation –

I’ve heard many great things about the luminous version of this foundation and figured that this particular formula would be more my speed. The color is actually light enough for me which is a rare occurrence in drugstore foundations. The formula is truly matte, long-lasting and has great coverage, all for a pretty reasonable $9.00 price tag.

That’s all I have for you guys today. Please remember to like, comment, and subscribe, it really helps me out. Also don’t forget to have a fantastic Friday!

Stay beautiful!
