“That’s what keeps me going: dreaming, inventing, then hoping some more in order to keep dreaming”

-Joseph Barbera

Hello my lovelies!

Now that we’re fairly invested into September, I think it’s appropriate for me to begin thinking about Halloween. I know it’s over a month away, but I can’t help it; I love a spooky holiday.

I had decided early on that I wanted to be Daphne this year, and this dress has provided the perfect opportunity for me to do so. It may not be an exact copy, but I can always pass it off as adult Daphne.

As I mentioned in my previous post, this color combo has been a little rough when it comes to putting outfits together, but I’m also loving what I have put out thus far. I so rarely get to pull out this orange duster and this combination has really inspired me to start wearing it a little more often.

Everyone on Instagram was really loving the shoes, so I decided to have them make a second appearance in this post as well. While this color is by far my favorite, there are plenty of other color options, AND they’re currently on clearance at Target, so snatch them up while you still have time!

The dress was a spur of the moment Forver 21 clearance purchase, something I don’t generally do, however with looking for something that could also double as a Halloween costume, I definitely wanted to keep it on the cheaper side. I love that it’s short but balanced on top with the turtle neck (I tucked it in for this outfit) and long sleeves. It’s a very comfortable and flattering dress that I can actually see myself wearing for many occasions.
