“I feel that there is nothing more truly artistic than to love people”
-Vincent Van Gogh
Hello my lovelies!
I’ll be honest, I’m not much of a flannel person. I want to like it and I want to style it, but flannel just reminds me of a time period in my life where my family members were still stuck in the 90’s and couldn’t not wear that puke green over-sized flannel shirt that everyone had in their closet.

I’m getting Tim Allen Vibes
With the exception of chokers, I’d essentially like to leave the entirety of 90’s style behind, mostly because it was arguably the least inclusive time period for trends. Heroine chic reigned supreme and the gaunt supermodel look was heavily desired. Other than that, you had the skater boy stoner look, and while there’s nothing wrong with being a skater boy stoner, dressing like I could be an extra from Wayne’s World isn’t something I would readily get behind.

We have similar hair though
Overall, 90’s fashion isn’t for me, but I won’t hesitate to borrow an idea from any decade if it fulfills a purpose in my wardrobe, namely the flannel featured in my outfit today. In this case, my flannel serves as an accessory, but that’s how I like 90’s fashion; a fun addition if you want it, but not essential to the outfit.
What do you guys think of 90’s style? Love it, or leave it?

I love that quote! I’m not a huge fan of 90s fashion, but I do like crop tops and some chokers. Flannels are hit or miss but I like the way you styled it 🙂
Thank you! And I have to agree. It’s nice to appropriate some things from the 90’s, but I’m not the type to want the whole decade to make a comeback.
I love your look! I’m not a fan of flannel either, but you were able to make it work!
Thank you! This is generally how I make flannel work for me 😂. I can’t get into it otherwise, I just feel like a lumberjack.
Love how you styled the look 🙂 I’m really digging the 90’s runway fashion!
Thank you!
