Easy + Affordable Neutral Glam with Reviews.com

“Shine is my favorite color”

-Marc Jacobs

Hello my lovelies!

As promised, I have brought to you a more neutral look for today’s post. Because all of my recent posts have been so full of color, I wanted to showcase a wearable look, but not skipping over the full cake of course. Bonus, it’s all affordable makeup!

Speaking of cake, I think you all know by now that shade inclusiveness, particularly regarding foundations, is something that I am quite passionate about. Whether you’re a ghost like me, the richest shade of dark chocolate to exist, or somewhere in between, brands often miss the mark when it comes to representing the outliers of the color spectrum. However, finding the perfect shade for you, if it even exists, can take hours of research time that most of us don’t have. Insert my latest lifesaver: Reviews.com’s foundation page.

The entire purpose of reading a review is to gather information on a product or products that you’re looking to purchase. Instead of doing all of that work yourself, wouldn’t it be simpler to have access to a database that does all the research for you?

In addition to the extensive research that Reviews.com has gathered on 700+ formulas, they’ve now begun to focus on inclusive brands as a whole when rating their options accordingly. This singular step in the right direction is exactly why I chose to collaborate with this site. Like them, I believe that every man, woman, or somewhere in between has a right to feel included in the beauty world, and there is just no excuse to believe otherwise. Beauty is diversity, and diversity is beauty; it’s a symbiotic relationship waiting to happen, and I think we’re all ready for it.

Rest assured, Reviews.com isn’t only meant for foundation. If your passion in life is feeding your furry friend the highest quality pet food around, you can search that too. With a user friendly database, the site is really your oyster. They offer a healthy amount of background information on the how’s and why’s of their reviewing process, and make fairly regular updates to each section that they provide.

Ultimately, I would not recommend this site to any of you if I didn’t truly feel it was effective and delivered a genuine message. Personally, I now know where to go when I’m ready to try out a new foundation, concealer, or any highly rated makeup product that Reviews.com has examined with care.

And now, back to our main feature, my beautiful moon face. Once again this will not be a tutorial, as the look is just a simple neutral eye with a bolder wing. You can just admire me instead, right?
