“Thank you’ is the best prayer that anyone could say. I say that one a lot. Thank you expresses extreme gratitude, humility, and understanding”
Hello my lovelies!
I hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving, if you celebrate that is. If not, I hope your Thursday was a great day nonetheless! I spent my Thanksgiving with my family members, so it was a pretty lowkey and relaxing day.
Much like the face edition of this series, I am not going to give a full on tutorial for either of these looks. Instead, I just want to explain what I did, and how I did it. If you want a more in depth tutorial on how I did either of these looks, you can check out my Pumpkin Spice post, since the technique is virtually the same, and the colors are all in the warm browns family.
I kept my daytime look simple by blending a warm brown shadow throughout the crease, and adding a slight shimmer to the center of my eyelid. I work in the Target cosmetics section and can get away with pretty much any look I want, but I also don’t want to have a glitter explosion on my face every day. This look is definitely a happy medium for me. I finished off the look by adding a light, champagne colored highlight to the tear duct.
As I mentioned in my previous post, I did not take off any of my eye makeup from the day. Instead, I layered on top of the existing shadows and kept it all in the same color family. I started by deepening the crease and outer corner with a chocolate brown shadow. I then packed a very glittery gold shade from inner corner to halfway across my lid. I finished it out by highlight the inner corner with a very frosty, golden highlighting shadow.
That’s all I have for you guys today. Please remember to like, comment and subscribe, it really helps me out. Also don’t forget to have a fabulous Friday and start to your weekend, you deserve it!
