Sephora VIB Sale Haul

Hello my lovelies!

SephoraSaleHaul1

So I might’ve done some damage with the Sephora sale going on…as if I don’t already have VIB Rouge Status. Sephora went and took my coins again, damn it. Can’t wait to try some more new shit though!

Before some of you say “hey Z, that’s some drugstore shit in there, why are you lying?” I wanted to include the two items in this haul since they are also new to me. Also I’m a cheater.

You might also notice that none of these products are brand new items, but they are new to me. Personally, when I’m shopping, I’m not looking for the newest item, because I still live in reality and can’t afford to drop dollars every time a new warm-toned, neutral shadow palette comes out. I buy what makes sense for me, and I genuinely feel that most, if not all of you reading this, are the exact same way. After all, my goal is to relate to you guys with my content, and being an average human being is definitely a good way for me to do that.

Let’s get started:

Dr. Jart+ Dermask Micro Jet Clearing Solution – $9.00

I really love the idea of sheet masks, but I haven’t found one that’s knocked my socks off yet, and with the salycylic acid in this mask to treat my acne, I’m hoping for some decent results!

Boscia Multi-Masking Medley – $18.00

I remember liking these a while back, and while peel off masks don’t ACTUALLY remove blackheads, I still think they’re fun to wear, and peel off, obviously.

Tarte Pack Your Bags 911 Undereye Rescue Patches – $22.00

Honestly, I would never buy these without a price cut. $22.00 for a 4 pack of eye patches seems unnecessary, but we shall see for sure. I’m really hoping these will be great for my early mornings, since they’re something I can put on while I do my eye makeup as I get ready for work.

Maybelline Dream Matte Mousse Foundation “Porcelain Ivory” – $9.99

I’m really not that into mousse foundations, but I keep wanting to try this because I find it so genuinely bizarre and interesting. This will definitely be in a “Trying New Shit” Volume, so stay tuned.

Nars Radiant Creamy Concealer “Chantilly” – $30.00

I have tried this concealer before and wasn’t crazy impressed, but it’s been long enough, I have improved my makeup game, and I want to give it another go. I almost want to include this concealer in a completely separate post about hyped makeup products, but we’ll see what my budget allows in the coming months.

Wet N’ Wild Mega Glo Makeup Stick “When The Nude Strikes” – $3.99

Apparently this is going to be crazy intense, so you know I’m ready for it. I’m not usually a huge fan of liquid or stick highlighters, since I inevitably apply a powder highlighter over them anyway, but this is supposedly quite promising and I’m ready for it.

Urban Decay Beached Bronzer “Sun Kissed” – $28.00

First of all, the packaging is gorgeous. Second, I’ve been into more orangey bronzers lately, and this looks like it’s going to be up my little alley. I’ve been feeling especially white lately, so I think the orange bronzer is just my subconscious telling me I need some sunlight every once in a while.

Anastasia Beverly Hills Modern Renaissance Palette – $42.00

I ALMOST bought the Prism palette instead of this beauty, but this palette is a prime example of practicality versus the Prism palette. I basically bought this whole thing because I really wanted some pink shadows, but I still couldn’t be happier with this purchase, as every color is absolutely gorgeous.

Make Up For Ever Aqua XL Ink Eye Liner “M-14” – $24.00

This white liner better be fucking amazing, because $24.00 is completely asinine in my opinion. Nonetheless, I’m excited about using this for some graphic liner looks, and hopefully it’ll go on a little nicer than the NYX one.

Make Up For Ever Aqua XL Eye Pencil Waterproof Eyeliner “I-90” – $21.00

I adore my (actually) aqua liner from this same line so much, that purchasing it in another fun color seemed like a no brainer. I love purple, it’s been my favorite color since I was in utero, and this color is so rich and beautiful that I couldn’t resist it.

Bite Beauty Amuse Bouche Liquified Lipstick “Cava” – $24.00

I love Bite’s original lipsticks, so I’m hoping that these liquid lipsticks are equally as moisturizing, comfortable, and pretty. The packaging definitely entices me, if nothing else ultimately.

Marc Jacobs Beauty Le Marc Liquid Lip Creme “Fawn Over Me 452” – $28.00

Again, this price is offensive, but I’ve also heard really lovely things about these lipsticks. It’s important to note that this is NOT a liquid lipstick in the traditional sense. I like to think of it as similar to the L’oreal Infallible Pro Matte Lipgloss. I love the color I specifically got, and will probably end up wearing it for the rest of eternity, assuming the product is good to begin with.

Price Breakdown:

For this breakdown, note that I will not be including the 2 drugstore items, and will be listing all items together in total price, except for the Shadow palette and Mask Medley, as these were a separate in-store purchase while the sale was active.

  • NOT including the 2 drugstore products and the 2 in-store products, I saved a total of $37.20 with this total.
  • NOT including the 2 drugstore products and the online purchase, the original total for my Sephora in-store purchase was at $60.00, excluding tax, shipping, and handling.
