Hello my lovelies!
Today, I am going to be reviewing the latest Urban Decay foundation for all of you. I’m super excited to get this under way, so let’s jump right into it!
Cyclopentasiloxane, Water, Methyl Methacrylate Crosspolymer, Dimethicone, Isododecane, Butylene Glycol, Acrylates/Dimethicone Copolymer, PEG/PPG-18/18 Dimethicone, Phenyl Trimethicone, Magnesium Sulfate, Lauryl Polyglyceryl-3 Polydimethylsiloxyethyl Dimethicone, Phenoxyethanol, Dimethicone Crosspolymer, Disteardimonium Hectorite, Triethoxysilylethyl Polydimethylsiloxyethyl Dimethicone, Isopropyl Titanium Triisostearate, Dimethicone Crosspolymer-3, Propylene Carbonate, Tocopherol. [+/- (All Shades May Contain): CI 77891 (Titanium Dioxide), CI 77491/77492/77499 (Iron Oxides)].
In other words, undecipherable ingredients that most of us know very little about. However, if you are familiar with one of these ingredients and you do not react well to it, steer clear!
This formula claims to be matte, oil free, waterproof and full coverage. This formula is supposedly comfortable enough to wear every day as well.
About one pump should be plenty
Use a foundation brush or sponge
Set with a powder
Would I recommend It:
Honestly, I think this is one of the most emotional makeup moments I’ve ever had. I decided to test out only one pump, and initially, I thought I looked HORRIBLE. I was sure that my skin looked dried out and wrinkly, and had to fight the itch to take it off and quit this review from the start. Because I am one dedicated mofo, I kept it on and went about my makeup application.
I noticed immediately that all of my products went on BEAUTIFULLY on top of this foundation. I also happened to notice that, lo and behold, the foundation looked a million times better after I let it settle and sink into my skin. I look matte, but not flat.
As I wore this foundation throughout the day, I was able to wear sunglasses with minimal/no indentation whatsoever. Even after a long day at 8 hours of wear, I look slightly oily, but I would still go out with zero touch ups. Generally, I have to blot up to twice a day, but in this case, I would realistically only have to blot once, if at all.
In my opinion, this foundation is VERY comparable to the L’oreal Infallible Pro Matte Foundation, albeit with a little more coverage.
I would absolutely recommend this foundation for people with normal or combination skin, but especially oily skin. I think that if you have dry skin, you could make this work with a moisturizing primer, but that is entirely up to your discretion. The color range is great and I love the number system. The only setback is that this foundation does oxidize, but I honestly think it went back to its original color after about an hour. Despite the color change, I had no demarcation lines. I understand that the price is a little steep at $44.oo, however I would absolutely go back to Sephora and buy four more bottles of this, because I am head over heels.
That’s all I have for you guys today. Please remember to like, comment, and subscribe, it helps me out so much. Also don’t forget to have a wonderful weekend, and good look to everyone that has started or is starting a new school year!
