May Digs and Duds

Hello my lovelies!

I am back for another round of digs and duds. I have a lot to share with you guys today, so let’s get started right away!

M.A.C Prep and Prime Fix Plus – I love using this as a primer, as well as a glitter and pigment “base”, for any eye products. This product does have a scent to it, so if that’s not your thing, stay away from it.

It Cosmetics #103 Blurring concealer Brush – To be honest, I don’t use this brush for concealing. I love using this brush as a fluffy eyeshadow brush instead. Since it is a concealer blurring brush, it does blend out shadows REALLY well.

Urban Decay Cosmetics Naked Skin Color Correcting Fluid in Pink – I already LOVE the regular concealer, and this pink toned concealer is equally as awesome. This color absolutely works for my fair complexion, and does a wonderful job of covering up my dark circles, without leading to cakeyness after I apply my normal concealer. This corrector also comes in a darker “orange” shade, for people with darker complexions.

Lancome Effacernes Waterproof Long Lasting Undereye Concealer in Clair – Straight up, this concealer absolutely does NOT work for my undereyes, only because of the color. However, this concealer does work for my actual skin, and I am certain that it would make a great concealer for the undereyes. The formula is super light and creamy, but is incredibly high coverage and does not budge! I received this as a sample, so when I have the time (and money), I am definitely going to purchase this concealer in the right color for my eyes.

Lancome Dual Finish Multitasking Powder in Foundation in 220 Buff II (C) – I’m not exactly sure where this color goes in the range, but it surprisingly works for me, especially when I’m tanned. I love the fine texture of this powder, and I especially enjoy the flawless high coverage it offers. If you are looking for a powder that makes you look like a cherub, this is totally it.

Physicians Formula Butter Bronzer in Murumuru – I’m pretty sure this bronzer doesn’t come in another shade, however I listed the name anyway to make sure. I ADORE THIS BRONZER. It is by far the best drugstore bronzer for fair skin that I have EVER found. Bonus, it smells like a pina colada and I am all about that. The texture is amazing, and the color is gorgeous. It is fairly cool toned, which works exceptionally well for a majority of pale skinned beauties, and has just a slight amount of shimmer, but in a natural way. The only thing I don’t like is that it doesn’t appear to have more shades, because I would be over the moon if darker skinned men and woman could enjoy this bronzer as much as I do.

NYX Cosmetics Prismatic Eyeshadows in Punk Heart, Liquid Gold, and Mermaid – You need these shadows in your life. These colors are so beautiful and so pigmented, I honestly pick them up instead of some of my higher end shadows. My all time favorite has to be Liquid Gold, just because of the stunning gold and bronze shift.

BH cosmetics Carli Bybel Palette – I think BH is such an awesome, inexpensive yet high quality brand, and I love that they do so many collabs with beauty youtubers. This palette is super pigmented, creamy, and the colors easily works for all skin tones. The highlighters are gorgeous and offer a wide range, even for pale girls like me, they can be used as more shadows. The only con is the fallout, which is often expected with extremely pigmented shadows. However, this doesn’t bother me since fallout is easy to clean up, but if this does bother you, then this palette isn’t for you.

Tarte Cosmetics So Fine Microliner – If you are a beginner, this is a great eyeliner to start out with. The tip is very small, flexible, and precise, allowing for easy movement across they eyelid. Additionally, the formula is like a gel/liquid mix, dries matte, and is very pigmented. I love making my wing outline with this liner,as well as lining my lid with it.

Marc Jacobs Beauty Velvet Noir Mascara – I recently did a “Does it Work” post on this product, so I will leave the full post here.

Too Faced Melted Matte Liquid Lipstick in Naughty By Nature – God I love this color. This is one of the greatest red toned browns I have ever laid eyes on. Not only that, but the formula completely slays my entire existence. This liquid lipstick is, by far, one of the most comfortable formulas I have ever encountered. I am so hoping that Too Faced comes out with even more colors that I can get my hands on.

PST Lost Angeles By Project Social T “To Wake Up” Sweatshirt – This is Project social T’s less expensive sister, but the quality is absolutely still there. This sweatshirt is so soft, and the graphic is so cute, especially if you’re a total bed lover like me. Pick this piece up at select Nordstrom Rack Stores, or online here.

“You Don’t Own Me” Redone by Grace, featuring G-Eazy, Candyland Remix – If you know the original song, then you’ll definitely recognize this. I enjoy the modern take with the rapping and the electronic remix. As always, I also enjoy the woman power lyrics, because remember, we can do it!

NYX Cosmetics High Definition Eyeshadow Base – I don’t know if it’s just my oily eyelids, but this eyeshadow base really doesn’t do anything special for me. It does not make my shadows more vibrant, prevent creasing, or prevent transfer. All in all, fairly disappointed in this product, which hurts to say since I am such a huge fan of NYX.

That’s all I have for everyone today. Please remember to like, comment, and subscribe, it really helps me out. Most importantly, have a wonderful summer, for anyone who is recently out of school or about to be done. Congratulations to all graduates, you earned it!

Stay Beautiful!
