OOTD# 70

Hello my lovelies!

I hope everyone is having a wonderful week filled with awesomeness.

I want to premise this post with my recent health debacle. While I have noted that I have lupus previously, it has never been formally diagnosed, as Lupus is extremely difficult to diagnose at all. By chance, my blood test results recently came back with a positive ANA count, meaning that I am most likely positive for lupus. Again, I’ve known for a long time that I have lupus, since my mother tested positively years before and I exhibit the same symptoms. However, testing positive means that I’ve got a long road ahead of many specialist appointments, and lots of playing around with medication. Not to worry, i’m absolutely fine, but the constant appointments does make it slightly harder to regularly post of course.

Anyway, back to fashion. I recently bought these new boots, because I’ve been dying for some over the knee boots in my life. I picked these up for an awesome price at DSW, and they’re great for my slightly larger calves. Finding boots that fit when you have calves that aren’t the size of a toothpick can be quite difficult, and sometimes, wide is just too wide, as is the case with me all the time. Luckily, some brands naturally create boots with larger calves, and this brand definitely does just that. You can steal my exact beauties here, or scoop up this similar style here.

That’s all I have for today. I hope your day off for MLK is wonderful!

Stay Beautiful!
